Welcome to the new school year! My name is Lisa Hohe, and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Franzen! This is my 3rd year teaching in Itasca. The last two years I taught Social Studies at Peacock. This year marks my 22nd year in the classroom! I completed my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Butler University, and I earned a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. I live in Wheaton and enjoy spending time with my family. My daughter is a 2023 graduate of the University of Illinois, and my son will be a junior there this year. My youngest son attends the College of DuPage working towards his associates degree. Outside of school, you will find me walking our puppy, Daisy, reading, and spending time with my extended family and friends. My classroom is a place where students feel welcomed, work cooperatively, and challenge themselves. It is a place to learn, make mistakes, and have fun! I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher, and I look forward to helping them grow academically and personally this year!
